Brian Murphy, of Couch White’s Corporate and Commercial Transactions Group, recently represented a significant New York City tech start-up in its establishment of new, Manhattan-based office headquarters composing the entire top-floor of a downtown skyscraper. In addition to providing general business counsel to the start-up and its co-founders, Brian led a three-way negotiation between his client, a sublessor and the landlord of the office tower to bring the deal to a successful conclusion.
In commenting on the transaction, Brian said, “We were pleased to assist another growing technology start-up in one of its most significant transactions to date. Beyond the legal issues, we were particularly happy to partner with our client to help prime it for growth and expansion in the years ahead.
