New York State Employers Mandated to Implement Sexual Harassment Protections

New York State recently adopted a law requiring that employers adopt sexual harassment policies and provide training on those policies, requiring those bidding on state competitive procurements to affirm compliance with the policy and training requirement, extending liability of employers who “permit” sexual harassment of non-employees in the workplace, and limiting use of arbitration and nondisclosure agreements in connection with sexual harassment claims.  Read the article.
